Housing is the award winning Chartered Institute of Housing's annual conference, and Europe's leading housing festival. These events provide a platform for peers within the housing sector to come together to discuss, debate, partner, learn and improve the lives of the people you house.

The annual NWUPC Conference is back in-person for the first time since 2019 at The University of Manchester's, University Place, with the theme Risk, Action and Grow. 

Members of NWUPC will be gathering for a day of collaboration, topical sessions, an exhibition of over 50 framework suppliers including Banner on stand 15, and of course the chance to network with peers from across the sector. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and with everyone going through a rough few years, finding the right balance for your mental health within the workplace can be tricky.

Planting 200+ trees with Edding and Tree Appeal

The sun came out for us last week, 26th April 2022, at the tree planting ceremony organised by Tree Appeal and Edding UK. As Edding UK's partner, Banner got their hands dirty as part of the tree-planting team at Ryecroft Academy in Leeds.

Four members of the Banner team - Alex Clayton, Kirk Townsend, Alex Milano-Tee and Natasha Barker - joined colleagues from Edding, as well as a big group of pupils from Ryecroft Academy, and got stuck in to planting over 200 trees of different varieties - helping us and them learn more about sustainability and the environment.

John brings a wealth of market knowledge and experience from the past 20 years to the Banner Healthcare Team.  He is a true advocate of carbon reduction initiatives, a father to 8 year old football loving Jude, a blood donation hero and an absolute asset to Banner.
